Doing-by-suing: Human rights and climate trials, strategic action or simply a trend?

There has been an increase in lawsuits filed against companies and authorities in many countries, where climate and human rights issues are brought before the court by organisations and others. Is the courtroom a fitting place for such battle? What are the implications - for companies, but also for employers and employees, for governments and civil society?
