Workshop setup

The aim of this workshop is to integrate systems thinking in corporate sustainability practices through an exercise of mutual learning and exchange of knowledge. This entails taking a holistic approach to sustainability. It is intrinsic to Agenda 2030 to think in systems rather than analysing each goal separately and this exercise would therefore be an important step for companies who intend to operationalize the SDGs.

The setup for the workshop consists of two themes: (A) integrated sustainability strategies where we have a specific focus on global value chains and (B) integrated sustainable assessment and governance. The themes are divided into four discussion groups where academics and corporate representatives will be mixed.
